We only run sessions for this subject in the Term 2 and 3 Holiday Seminars.

Writing Skills seminars at Adelaide Tuition Centre help students strengthen the writing skills needed to clearly communicate their ideas across a range of subjects. Each holiday seminar focuses on key techniques such as structuring responses, developing clear arguments, and expressing ideas with clarity and precision. Through guided examples and practical strategies, students learn how to plan, organise, and refine their writing so they can approach essays, extended responses, and written assessments with greater confidence.

Sessions follow a consistent structure across the year, with Term 3 Seminars placing a strong focus on exam preparation, including targeted exam revision and guidance on how to answer questions according to the marker’s expectations.

  Roy is an enthusiastic, highly successful senior teacher. He has taught English for more than 25 years at a Year 12 level. Roy has also taught History for more than 20 years.  He specialises in essay development according to the examiner’s requirements.
