Thank you for your interest in Year 12 Psychology.

Psychology revision seminars at Adelaide Tuition Centre help students strengthen their understanding of the key concepts and topics studied throughout the school term. Each holiday seminar reflects the content students have recently covered in class, revisiting important areas such as psychological processes, research methods, and the analysis of behaviour and mental processes, while reinforcing understanding through clear explanations and guided revision.

Sessions follow a consistent structure across the year, with Term 3 Seminars placing a strong focus on exam preparation, including targeted exam revision and guidance on how to answer questions according to the marker’s expectations.

To revise as much as possible, it is recommended to attend all the seminars listed below. However, this is not compulsory and you may choose any combination of sessions.

  Innika holds the position of senior Psychology teacher at Endeavour College in Mawson Lakes, where she has been an integral part of the Science faculty since 2005. Her notable contributions include pioneering the subject of Psychology at the College in 2010 and consistently teaching Year 12 classes throughout her tenure. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Innika currently serves as a valued member of the team of authors working on the forthcoming Essentials Stage 1 Psychology textbook, set to be released later this year. She has also contributed her expertise to the SACE examination marking process for Stage 2 examinations. Furthermore, Innika has had the privilege of presenting at the annual Psychology teachers conference, showcasing her dedication to professional development and knowledge dissemination within the field. In 2023 Innika's commitment to education remains unwavering as she expertly teaches three classes of Year 12 Psychology students. With her extensive experience, she possesses an in-depth understanding of the curriculum and the practised ability to prepare students for the SACE examination. Innika's passion for Psychology is evident in her approach to teaching. She employs a diverse range of methods and techniques, ensuring that her students not only excel in summative assessments but also grasp the significance of psychological principles in their own lives and the lives of those around them. Her enthusiasm for the subject serves students in fostering a stimulating and engaging learning environment.

  Deb Green is an experienced Psychology teacher and is currently a Senior School Counsellor at Pembroke school in Adelaide. Deb graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2005 with a Master of Psychology, leading her into the world of private practice, followed by a range of roles in community-based organisations. Deb started her career as a teacher after graduating from the University of Portsmouth in 2010 with a Post Graduate Diploma of Education, teaching A level and IB Psychology for 5 years before securing the position of Head of Psychology in a highly regarded college based in the South of England. Deb has a passion for supporting young people and early career teachers to achieve their best and has enhanced her skills by engaging with marking and moderation, and becoming a team supervisor both in the UK and in her teaching career based in Adelaide. Over the last few years, Deb has been involved in developing and delivering professional development for teachers and other school counsellors and is currently the Vice President of ACAPS (Australian counsellors and psychologists in schools). In 2012 Deb won the ‘’You make a difference award” and has recently been nominated for the Nomination for the National Excellence in Teaching Award 2021.
