We are pleased to announce our Virtual Seminars will be available for Year 12 Biology, Chemistry, Mathematical Methods, Nutrition and Physics in the Term 1, 2 and 3 school holidays!

You’ll be able to access our teachers and resources from the safety and comfort of your own home.

Each session will be live-streamed via Zoom, featuring one of our expert teachers, to deliver the most authentic seminar experience.

You’ll revise the key concepts for each topic, with a focus on exam-specific content, led by one of our expert teachers, accompanied by exclusive revision notes for each topic.

  • Slopes of tangents of the exponential and logarithmic functions

Session B – Derivatives of trigonometric functions

  • Derivatives of trigonometric functions
  • Kinematics: displacement, velocity, acceleration
  • Application of trigonometric functions, including tidal heights and temperature changes.

Session C – The second derivative and Integration

  • Relationship between the 1st and 2nd derivatives
  • Optimisation
  • Points of inflection
  • Area under a curve, and problem-solving by integration.

Session D – Statistics 1

  • Discrete random variables – the Bernoulli and Binomial distribution
  • Continuous random variables – Normal distribution

Session E – Statistics 2

  • The central limit theorem
  • Confidence intervals for means and its interpretation
